2. What personal data we collect

We only collect data that is necessary to respond to enquiries, deliver locksmith services, and run our website lawfully.

2.1 Information you give us

  • Contact form submissions — your name, phone number, email address, postcode/area, and the message you send us.
  • Phone calls — we keep your number from your caller ID and brief notes about the work you ask for. We do not record call audio.
  • WhatsApp messages — your phone number, profile name and the messages you send.
  • Job records — service address, work performed, parts fitted, photos of completed work (where useful for warranty), and any guarantee details.
  • Payment information — we accept card, cash and bank transfer. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, pages viewed, and time on site (via Google Analytics 4).
  • Cookies — see Section 8 and our Cookie Policy.
  • Anti-spam data — when you submit a form we may pass technical data to Cloudflare Turnstile to verify the request is not automated.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
  • To dispatch a locksmith and complete the job.
  • To take payment and issue receipts/invoices.
  • To honour our 12-month workmanship guarantee on completed work.
  • To send appointment reminders or follow-ups (where you have asked us to).
  • To improve our website and services using anonymised analytics.
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and spam.

We do not sell your data, share it with marketing list brokers, or use it for unrelated advertising.

10. Children

Our services are aimed at adults (homeowners, tenants, landlords, businesses). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has supplied us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least once a year and whenever our processing activities change. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for 30 days.
